Lakair
Lodge
Lakair Lodge is owned and operated by the Cameron family who have been
catering to fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts on the West Arm since
1919, through 4 generations. We offer 15 comfortable cottages ranging in
size from 1 to 4 bedrooms, as well as a small campground and trailer
park. We pride ourselves in offering the best in hospitality and
service. Both Housekeeping or American Plan (meals) packages are
available. Our rental boats are traditional Giesler 18' cedar-strips
powered by 15hp Yamaha motors.
Lucky
Strike Camp
orthern Ontario, what a great place to spend your fishing vacation. The
scenery is spectacular and the fishing is fantastic. The wildlife in our
area can be enjoyed while boating or on nature hikes. Lucky Strike Camp
is located on the West Arm of Lake Nipissing. The West Arm differs from
the main body of water due to its depth and the fact that it is
sheltered from the prevailing westerly winds. We have been fishing at
Lucky Strike Camp for over 25 years and owners since 1989. For the
expert or the amateur fisherman, you will find an abundance of Walleye,
Pike, Bass and Muskie.
Memquisit
Lodge
To those who want to spend their vacation fishing or hunting or just
plain relaxing, let us tell you about Memquisit Lodge. Situated at the
extreme western end of West Bay on Lake Nipissing, Ontario, you will
find a log cabin camp called Memquisit Lodge. Memquisit to the Micmac
Indians meant hidden amongst silver birches and evergreens. The location
is ideal for fishing or boating as West Bay is protected from the more
boisterous waters of Lake Nipissing. Extending inland for thirty miles
to what is known as the West Arm of Lake Nipissing; West Bay is filled
with large and small, wooded, rocky islands with a shoreline of thickly
weeded bays. It is a fishermen’s heaven and a photographer’s paradise.
Monetville
Tavern and Lodge
Located on Hwy 64 in the West Arm District of Lake Nipissing. Good
housekeeping cabins, fully equipped or accommodations in the lodge. Our
restaurant offers light and homemade meals. Licensed under the LLBO. 3
pc. bath in cabins and central showers. Sheltered waters make boating
safe with scenery that is breathtaking. An 18 hole golf course just 300
yards back of the lodge.
Rockport
Camp and Cottages
Enjoy a relaxing excursion on one of our canoes or paddle boats. Perhaps
go boating out into the endless miles of water ways around the islands
of the West Arm or into Lake Nipissing and visit North Bay via water.
There are numerous islands and channels to explore and at the same time
you will enjoy the beauty of the magnificent pine trees while soaking up
the hot sun. Fishermen will love the various species of fish in our
waters, such as pike, pickerel, (walleye), muskie, bass and many others.
Lake Nipissing is one of the top ten lakes renowned for Pickerel
(Walleye) in Ontario and offers bountiful Northern Pike, Muskie, Perch,
Bass and much more to all anglers. The fall season (mid-August to
mid-October) is prime Muskie time.
Saenchiur
Flechey
The West Arm and West Bay area offers safe fishing for smaller boats and
canoes. In theLake Nipissing's West Arm - Fishing and Ecotourism Lodge
crystal clear water, you will find a wide variety of species including
Musky, Northern Pike, Bass, Pickerel (Walleye) Bluegill and even Jumbo
Yellow Perch! The region offers some of the most thrilling experiences
in both the spring and fall. Fishing opens Victoria Day week-end and
closes mid-October. If you prefer ice fishing, we have an excellent spot
within a walking distance from your cottage. Season runs from January
1st to beginning of March.
Sandy
Haven Camp
Fish Lake Nipissing or the Famous French River, out of our locally hand
crafted "Giesler" cedar strip boats. Not exactly fly in, but the same
feeling of remoteness, with out the expense. In Ontario fishing you will
catch Walleye, Northern Pike, Small & Large Mouth Bass, Perch and
Muskie. They are all here for the catching! All the Cottages are clean &
comfortable and come equipped with all the following comforts of home.
The Main Lodge is a small Ice Cream Shop & Convenience Store in case you
need an ice cream fix or any basic essentials that you might have
forgotten. Come and visit us today!
Shuswap
Camp
For years the waters of Lake Nipissing have provided anglers with hours
of challenge and enjoyment. The nature of the waterways in our area with
miles of weed beds, rocky shoals and drop offs prove to be a haven for
the 40 various species of fish. Fishing Lake Nipissing at ShuswapWhether
you're child is happy angling for perch or other panfish, or an avid
angler battling the mighty musky of Northern Ontario we're sure you'll
leave greatly satisfied. The water of our area contain such species as
walleye (yellow pickerel), blue pickerel, sauger, musky, northern pike,
small and largemouth bass, garpike, whitefish, perch and numerous pan
fish.

cater to all your fishing needs. A launching ramp and excellent docking
facilities are available for those who wish to bring their own boats.
